Never had kids, never will...but I sure appreciate women! | That's refreshing to hear, Doug, and I do appreciate your attitude. As we women know, if it was left up to men to propagate the human race, we'd probably have to call it "Population Zero". Cause when moms get sick, it's business as usual. When dads just catch a cold, there's so much whining, the moms wanna run to the nearest ammo store and load up, LOL.

It's just that every man I've ever known, be it husbands, boyfriends, brothers, friends, bosses, family members, etc., have all acted that way. You may be the exception to the rule. (Oh, geez, where's that blushing suck-up smilie when ya need it? )

Rep Power: 2 | I gotta tell ya...I used to be insensitive, a "What, ME care?" kinda guy...then, I saw a VERY graphic film which showed a regular birth (~shudder~), then a CESAERIAN, then, with the REGULAR pregnancy, the terrible mess they have to stitch up, afterwards...I don't know HOW you can even THINK of sitting down after that.
Then, I had a girlfriend I had to accompany to the hospital (actually I didn't HAVE to, I just could NOT stand the thought of not knowing what they were doing to her), and watched her take a three-inch needle in the bottom. She didn't even flinch. They said I turned white.
Women are MUCH tougher than men, at least ME, anyway. Not all men, but man...I get teary-eyed when faced with hypodermics. Itty bitty flu shot needles make me pass out. My hat is off to our FEMALES!

Rep Power: 10 | Everytime I go in for blood work, they tell me most men won't even look. I watch the whole thing. I want to see that they are doing it correctly.
Yes, women are tough cookies, Doug!!! (LOL)

Rep Power: 10 | My husband was there to see my C-Section. I hated that. I mean I wanted him there but I didn't like him seeing me gutted like a fish. |

Rep Power: 2 | OMG, Suzie...C-Section???? I know EXACTLY what that looks like, and I cannot IMAGINE actually being present...I mean, really! When I saw that film, I couldn't imagine that woman even LIVED after that!
Being right there...during the procedure...wow. God bless him! He didn't pass out? Get woozy? Maybe he looked away during the incision, as that's the worst part for me. After everything's open, they get it cleaned up a bit...not so bad. The thing that makes me want to lose consiousness, is the needle piercing, or the scalpel CUTTING. I cannot take that....

Rep Power: 2 | Back on topic...I hope Giada has her first one with no problems...that is one happy woman...and it is SO good to see that....she almost...(forgive me here) GLOWS...
That whole family is special. Heck, I even fell in love with Giada's MOM! I think I'd have to have more than broadcasting's pay to impress her, though...LOL!
