Rep Power: 2 | Ha haaa! Suzie...forgive me, but you can probably imagine the things I was thinking, as I was waiting for this thread to open...
I mean, A. Bourdin was eating some pretty strange animal parts the other night...so you can understand....
LOL!

Rep Power: 2 | I think Tony has eaten those animal parts from just about every animal that's got 'em. |

Rep Power: 10 | Those are his favorite parts to eat...animal organs! Yukkie!!!
I have never heard of this product before. I'll have to see if we have it out here.
Interesting name for a candy product. Wonder what the name suggestions were for this one to win the title!

Rep Power: 2 | Yep, I've eaten a lot of organ meats but none since the whole mad cow thing started. I've had a lot worse though. It is difficult to avoid it when traveling in China. |

Rep Power: 2 | Chefnot...that's the THYMUS gland, right? What does that taste like?
I've never had kidney, either...now I LOVE baby calve's liver, done breaded w/onions...so, I might like the other two, right?
Something my Southern Heritage makes me crave...CHICKEN GIZZARDS! A Mexican food store in Immokallee serves 'em fried, and I always get the LARGE. I LOVE Menudo, which, when I was a kid in California, I used to call, "nasty soup", but I LOVE it today! It's made with tripe.
Now, what WAS that I thought I saw Bourdain eat the other night..."still beating cobra hearts"? Now, really. (~urp~!)
Is is just me...or is that just a TAD over-the-top?

Rep Power: 3 | Right, or also called pancreas. As you might guess it comes from the neck of a beef.
I am very bad at this....I saved about six of them and breaded and fried like you would chicken breast. Did the whole thing, mashed potatoes, gravy, salad, etc. I did all this as to not draw suspicion to the sweetbreads. Told the family it was chicken breast. They bought it; hook, line, and sinker. So, and as always, "it taste like chicken!"
But actually I didn't think so; it had a different texture which I really thought was excellent.

Rep Power: 3 | Btw...you can't believe the things I have gotten them to eat by convincing them it was something else. Did this same number on tame rabbit loins. Same results.
Course they are on to me....I have to be careful/creative.
