Unwrapped Diner?

Is the diner featured on Unwrapped a real diner or set?

According to IMDB they filmed at a real diner but changed to a set.

They seem to get run off a lot. Alton's set was a real house till someone called the law on them.

When I found out why Alton no longer films in a real house, I said if he was my neighbor he would be the one moving because I'd be over there everyday bothering him by asking to be his sous chef, dish washer, or whatever!

Sometimes you see the name of the diner in the credits of old episodes.

Which brings us back to the question, "Why can't they build a set for Everyday Italian?" Giada's always in someone else's kitchen!

On Giada's biography show they said they film an entire season in three weeks. A season on FN isn't a year long like a regular network show though. Maybe the other shows film more consistently and it makes sense to set up a permanent kitchen.

Bobby Flay's "Boy Meets Grill" is filmed at someone's New York Apartment rooftop. I've always wondered..if they can build a Kitchen Stadium...why rent that rooftop?
