Appearance Alert: See Alton in the Windy City

Tickets go on sale on Monday, Feb. 11 for Alton Brown's March 15 food talk at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry.

A great museum in my favorite city. Should be fun. Send me pics if you go.
Tickets cost $40 for adults; $25 for children 3 to 11; museum members receive a discount. Purchase tickets by calling the Museum at (773) 684-1414 beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 11. Limit four.
A ticket to the lecture includes general admission to the museum. Details at www.msichicago.org.

When I was in elementary school, this museum was a major field trip every year.

The big attractions back in the 50's, though, weren't food but the giant heart you could walk through. Lots of electricity and health displays from what I remember.

The only place you would see food was in the cafeteria. Times sure have changed.
