Rescue Chef new Food Network show
Do you struggle with cooking certain dishes? Do you need help with your culinary catastrophes?
Never fear — the Food Network has a new show to help everyday cooks with their kitchen dilemmas.
Starting March 1, the Food Network will premiere Rescue Chef featuring young British-born chef Danny Boome. In the first episode, Short Rib Rescue, Boome will show a viewer how to make perfect short ribs in a bourguignonne sauce to compliment his Dijon Mashed Potatoes and green beans. To complete the meal, he will make baked figs and mascarpone. Air time is at 12 p.m. ET/PT.
Though he is new to American cooking shows, he is a veteran of both Canadian and English TV shows.
For Rescue Chef, Boome will travel across America to deliver creative culinary solutions and basic cooking skills to save the day for a lucky viewer.
Boome has an interesting background. From semi-professional hockey player to working as an au pair, he has always had a passion for cooking. He started his training in 1999 in Switzerland. He later moved to Canada and trained at the West Wind Inn. He then attended the Grange Cookery School in England. His first job as a chef was at the Asia de Cuba restaurant in St. Martin’s Lane London Hotel. He then worked as a freelance chef working for the Estate of the Sultan of Oman in Paris along with other executives in England and Europe.
