Foodnetwork Web site now supporting poltical adds

What the heck is foodtv doing ? are they that hard up and unable to get food adds to put on the web site that they have to accept political adds. I know the election is important but please ! it is like getting a call from someone running for office during dinner you just don't.

I would of thought they would ask if we want to see them before just throwing it in our face. They keep going down and down in my book, just wonder how far they will sink, before getting out of their frame of mind that they have sunk in. I know money is important, but if they keep going they way they are, they will lose the base that got them this far. Looking too for a new channel to develop some place with cooking related shows, I see Sara's weeknight meals is coming on PBS, well anyways just had to post this latest find and disgust.

Our ads here come from google and they are supposed to be keyword oriented. This thread, because it has the word in it will probably trigger them here too now. But the forum rules are that there will be none of that type of discussion here. If I see those type of ads here I try to block them. That's not a topic we need on this site.

Wasn't here it was on the Foodnetwork web site, and I agree it needs to be somewhere else not with food, was just making a comment on their web site. Sorry

Sometimes sites that have polls on them will get them because they will ask people to "vote" so if theirs are keyword oriented that might be why they are showing up.
