Rep Power: 10 | Food Network: Heavyweights Heavyweights
How did America's biggest, most adored food brands go from small business operations into household names? Heavyweights is the series that takes two of your favorite prolific food companies and explores how healthy competition amongst these industry rivals kept their creative juices flowing. From the kick start of the Pepsi Challenge to E.T.'s choosing Reese's Pieces over M&M's, this series puts your favorite food brands into pop culture perspective.

Rep Power: 10 | I was a Pepsi Challenge girl way back when. That was very interesting as many would chose Coke and insisted it was Pepsi or vice versa.
You are right, Suzie. Seems like the same format under a new name. This seems to be happening quite a bit with their 'new' shows.
It's like re-wrapping a present in different paper and saying it is a new gift.

Rep Power: 2 | They've had shows already comparing and contrasting McDonalds, KFC and Wendys. These were much longer segments than those on Unwrapped and Secret Life. Maybe the new show will be like that. I'd be curious to know the behind-the-scenes financial arrangements for something like that. When does news or a feature story become just more advertising? |

Rep Power: 10 | It does seem strange that they seem to go out of their way to hide brand names on some shows but others seem to highlight them. |

Rep Power: 2 | From what I recall, they ran this series almost a year ago and I believe there were only maybe 4-6 shows. Is this a new 'season' or are they rerunning the same ones? I haven't paid much attention to it since the FN seems to like to get old footage and morph it into a new show and, frankly, I'm tiring of it.

Rep Power: 2 | It is amazing how they take junk food and fast food and say they are favorites ? I think my favorite would be a nice glass of wine, a med rare rib eye, garlic mashed potatoes, fresh spinach, a yeast roll, glass of ice tea, and a nice cup coffee to close the meal off, yup I can say that is honestly more of a favorite than any fast food. Not that a good bowl of gumbo isn't better than a big mac, or a table full of crawfish isn't better than a bucket of chicken. I guess they think we all live in the take out world. |

Rep Power: 10 | I think they are just stating they are 'favorites' in the fast food market.
They would not be on my Top 10 favorite foods to eat either. Number one would be a great salad with a variety of greens, peppers, cucumbers, olives, artichoke hearts and a light dressing.

Rep Power: 10 | I watched the first 10 minutes of this. I had seen everything they showed on other shows in the past, so I turned the channel. |
