I met Tyler Florence in 2002. He was chubbier than I would've liked but his personality is A++ And he was still hella cute and had great hair. Oh, and he had a bit of a stubble.

I so wanted Alton to come by on his first book tour for I'm Just Here for the Food alas, he never did. I held out hope for the other book tours, but again nothing.

The closest thing of food interest would be that lame "Taste of Charleston" at the Sternwheel Regatta, I remember a couple of years back Mr. Food was there and I kept whining, every time I'd see a promo for it, bring Alton!!
Although, I could see Alton tooling around the mountain roads on his motorcycle and stopping by a ramp festival.

I wanted to met him, so that's why I've traveled to attend his events. Other than that, my chances of meeting any other FN people would be 0.

I made eye contact with Paula Deen back in Nov. 2007, she winked back at me as she was exitng off stage.

Before Saturday I hadn't met any Food Network stars. But Saturday I did meet Jamie and Bobby Deen(saw Paula's show but never did see her after that to meet her). You could tell they were raised right. They were just so sweet to me and so funny!! I didn't have any of their books with me(I didn't think I'd get to meet them) so I had them sign(don't laugh too much here lol) my purse! Jamie signed it "You owe me $20" cause when I had my picture taken I forget what all was said but I responded "I'd do anything for ya'll"(yes I said ya'll I'm a Georgia gal we say that alot around here) and Jamie trying to be cute asked if I'd give him $20. So when he signed my purse I didn't know what he had written on it til I walked away but as he was handing it back to me he told me that I owed him 20 everytime I opend my purse LOL. What he doesn't know is I've only opened it up once since...to switch purses cause I'm not about to use that one anymore LOL.

Ya'll know I had plum forgot, but I met Paula up close and personal at her Paula live shoe in Shreveport, in 2007. She is a nice lady, in private very pleasant, spent most of her time with a little boy in a wheel chair though. which is okay he needed it more than I did. But I did get a picture with her.
