JEFFREY VADEN
Jeffrey, 43 (White Plains, NY) is 6’5’’ and brings a tall order to the kitchen. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, he has owned his own restaurant, catering business and was even a TV intern at one time. Although Jeffrey has a BA in Political Science and English from Howard University, he says he couldn’t pass up the way cooking channels the creative side of the brain.

It starts June 1st. I didn't get the ending on my disc, so I don't know who was eliminated. But from watching I know who I would have sent packing.

How did you get a sneak preview?

Do you think his acting background would help him?

The marketing company sent it to me.

Shane is VERY young (they said 19 on the show, maybe a birthday since the first taping) and seemed to have the most trouble dealing with the pressure in this first one. Because of his age I would be very surprised to see him win. But I did like him on the show. He has a great personality. He will probably do well at something in the entertainment field, however ... he hasn't convinced me in the first episode it will be doing this.

If I was the one picking they would be gone on this first show. They had an altitude and didn't explain things well at all. Alton pointed this out and apparently it wasn't received well. They should have listened to him because once again in the second challenge the same issue was present.

Of course, I would be completely starstruck in that situation, but certainly I would listen to whatever Alton had to say about presentation. Not just because I like him, but he's worked in TV and film production his whole career... if any host on FN knows about working on camera it would be Alton!
