Rep Power: 2 | Dunkin Donuts Yanks Rachael Ray Ad Lest you confuse Rachael Ray as a "terrorist sympathizer," Dunkin Donuts is pulling an ad in which the Food Network star, talkshow host, cookbook author, world-dominator, etc. dons a scarf that some... More... |

Rep Power: 10 | I think this was over-sensitive. I would have had no idea that a paisley design on a scarf meant anything except a flashback to the 60's when paisley was all the rage.
In any event, it doesn't go with what she is wearing anyway.
We don't have Dunkin Donuts out here, so we don't get their commercials. They all closed years ago.

Rep Power: 10 | Same here. And I agree with you. She probably just thought it was pretty or put on what they told her to without knowing any symbolism. |

Rep Power: 2 | okay does that mean if I wore paisley shirts with nehru jackets in the sixties, I have something with terrorists ? I think not. Do these people have nothing to do but to stir up crap when there is nothing to it. I think we need to get them fired when they print crap like that.

Rep Power: 2 | So someone from Fox News, freaks out about a scarf and it causes Dunkin' Donuts to lose a ton of money, the cost for hiring Rachel, the cost to shoot the commercial, and all of the other costs involved.
People like this need a reality check.
