Maybe Nipa is going to turn out to be the "bad guy" instead of Lisa? I don't really care for either of them personally.

I agree this bunch is better than last years, but I still do not have a stand out favorite. Adam is the most interesting so far, but he needs some work and the egg thing was a bad call.

I know, that question about the Spanish pork (or whatever is was, something like that) and it being at that guy's restaurant... too convenient for me!!
But I didn't get a lot of the questions right... I think even I few I learned from Good Eats... I know the cheddering and meat primals answers were thanks to watching AB!

Of all of them, I like Aaron. Then Kelsey.

I was kind of frustrated with the judges, including bobby, who didn't like Kevin's romance theme. I understood it. I think it could be successful just like the Neelys are. The thing is, he'd have to have a girlfriend/wife to do a show with him to really make it work. Otherwise it's too cheesy.

But he should have stayed in over Nipa. Hate to say it, but I thought it was an example of blatant reverse racism to me...they wanted to have their Indian style show so kick out the white guy, even though Nipa walks out. Just ridiculous.

Kind of like in the first season where I thought they were bound and determined to get dan and steve through..to make a statement, when there were better contestants.

The best season so far was Season 2 -- Guy, Reggie, Carissa, and Nate were all excellent. Frankly I think Carissa and Reggie could have their own shows.

What they did last year to Rory (by not just giving her the title) was ridiculous in my view, especially after Amy basically asid she didn't want it. They should have just not had the online vote. I think Rory's show would have worked too.

Oh well.

If Kelsey gets to the vote she's a shoo in.

next week's show

Martha Stewart is on next Sunday's show. I am wondering if her being back on F.N. has anything to do with her and Emeril's business collaboration announced this week. Looking at how harshly she criticizes people I predict there will be a lot more crying on next Sunday's show.

Martha is on Fine Living which is also a Scripps television network as is the Food Network. So they own a piece of Martha too.

or does Martha own a part of Scripps. I wonder if she is not on the board of the network someplace, or has strings attached to it ???

I believe Martha is a part of Omnimedia which has some sort of relationship with Scripps, I am not sure what it entails though. It might be simply to air her show, or it could be more involved than that. I dunno.

Hi! I'm new to this forum but I've been a FN addict for years. I just watched my first episode of The Next FN star this past Sunday (don't know how I've missed this show in previous seasons). I'm not really familiar with any of the contestants yet but I think that Nipa girl has a huge attitude problem. I'll keep watching cuz I can never get enough Bobby Flay!
