Angry Not loving one of the choices for Amusement Park Eats profiles

Coney Island? No brainer.
Knotts Berry Farm? Of course!
Busch Gardens Williamsburg? Well, ok.
Dollywood? That stuff looks good!

But to snub Disneyland in favor of Disneyworld was a stupid move! Their segment was longer than anyone else's; I almost turned it off from boredom. Yes, their ability to grow Mickey-shaped cucumbers is fascinating (and creepy), but the rest appeared to be a big PR placement spot for the Magic Kingdom.

Now, here's the thing: Disneyland was first, Disneyland clearly has stronger ties to Walt himself, and Disneyland has the historic Dole Pineapple Whip, AND the bragging rights to popularizing the Monte Cristo in America. Anyone agree? Anyone think I'm out of my mind?

Maybe it's just that Disney World is larger and has more available to choose from for eating? I have been to Disney World, but I have not been to Disney Land. I wonder which one has more visitors in a year?

Right, well obvs. Disneyworld has more visitors because it's infinitely larger, but here's the thing: this isn't a Travel Channel show called "Top Five Amusement Parks," it's a Food Network special about "Amusement Park Eats." And while I haven't been to Disneyworld, admittedly, I know that it does have first class dining establishments - but first class isn't what George Duran is about, or other Food Network field shows (D,D and D or $40 a day, etc.) for that matter. Most of the FN field shows are centered on food with a story, families, etc., and Walt put his heart into everything at Disneyland, including the cuisine. The park has the rich historical value that the fresh-food grills at Disneyworld don't, and that - you would think - would be of greater interest to viewers of this special. That's all I'm saying.

Maybe so. I haven't been to Disneyland so it's hard for me to compare the 2. Has anyone been to both?
