Lisa Garza gets her fashionable togs from vintage stores and customers.

DALLAS — Lisa Garza, co-owner of Dallas restaurant Suze, is the latest local to step into the frying pan of reality TV, as a contestant on The Next Food Network Star, which just completed Episode Four.
Though Garza has shown herself to be a capable contestant and a viable candidate to win, she's also been ruffled (revealed on her post-show blogging on D Magazine/Frontburner) by questions about her skills as a chef and her tendency to wear expensive designer clothes.
Calling Pegasus News to chivalrously defend his wife was chef-husband Gilbert Garza. Take it away, Gilbert:

ibcheft is on a distinguished road
Hats off to to Gilbert, you are suppose to support your significant, wife, other. But I did notice he mentioned the clothes, I understand wearing nice clothes for business, and it is nice people see such a need and give her stuff. But for this competition, where you are suppose to be your self why put on airs as to being able to wear this all the time. I like the natural look, wear what you can afford, would I wear an Armani suit to cook in ? NO NO NO it is not me, I would not want anybody to think that is me, give me my shorts, green clogs and T shirt. I think that is Lisa whole issue, I am sure she can cook, it has shown, in some of her dishes, like have said before she needs to go back to the tomboy type chef, it fits her better than the over dressed look at me cook. It is nice to see a person stick up for their spouse now days, not to much of that ever happens.
