He comes off like he's too cool for the room. But once again, I'm not a FN suit. They may love him for that.
EDIT: Dave Lieberman?!! I don't see that at all. They many be the same age, but
Dave Lieberman seemed genuinely happy (and not bored) to be giving you a food demo.
It could just be that Shane is nervous and trying to force it right now. I sometimes think that's why I thought Bobby Flay was cocky starting out. He seems better now, maybe he's just more comfortable.
