Rep Power: 2 | Well, just as I thought life and work experience knocked Shane out of the running, I kinda look for the same to happen to Kelsey. But I am still looking for Lisa to come out of her star struck syndrome. I also wonder what are they doing to these contestants this year, put them in front of a live audience, with RR, and work with children, thought that was way over board, bit like watching SL work with kids very uncomfortable. Aaron surprised me, I thought he would really stumble on this one but he pulled it out. So Adam use to own a restaurant with his bother and family first I have heard of that, did not realise he cooked at too. Seems given time he can fix somethings but still a lack of general food knowledge I think that will be his downfall. He kinds of reminds of Jim from the road show, but Jim left you feeling at least you thought he knew something, Adam on the other hand leaves you going this guy is really stupid. Just my thoughts for this weeks episode. I think now I might have to be changing my vote for the winner, Aaron or Lisa ?? I think one of these two are going to come out shinning here before long. Yes early on I said Kelsey because I could see her doing a kids home type show, but after seeing her work with kids, I do not see it now.

Rep Power: 10 | They do seem to scold Kelsey a lot for displaying a lack of experience. She seems a little too much like Rachael Ray in the perky happy kinda persona. I think Rachael has that covered and Kelsey didn't even seem to do well working with Rachael. I fear people will find her annoying after a while, especially since the food network is known for burning us out by putting a popular show's star into everything. |

Rep Power: 1 | Did Aaron say whether or not any of his three kids were girls? 'Cause the interaction with brownie Francesca (hope that's her name) seemed to make all the difference in the world. He lit up around her, and it was wonderful. Unfortunately, the remaining challenges will probably not involve children, so I still watch him with caution. He seems perpetually terrified of the camera and audiences, and I can relate!! I liked Lisa this go-round, and I thought they made more out of her 'steamrolling' than there was. I get the feeling that the judges don't like her continental bend on cuisine, so there will be more compromising for her to do. And I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but unless they stop picking on Kelsey for being...Kelsey, I now predict the one they go with is Adam. |

I think the new Rachael Ray clone is gonna be- hands down- Anne Burrell. I watched Secrets of a Restaurant Chef yesterday, and the girl is already displaying some of the same the overly cute speak (ramekins are 'rammies') and the perky-happy-chirpy thing that RR has trademarked. |

Looking long term, Adam has not demonstrated any cooking consistency; Shane did. Personality is more important than cooking skills????? | It's a mix of personality and cooking for a TV show -- but I agree, Adam's continued presence on the show defies logic. He's flubbed up a bunch of dishes to the point the judges are joking about it.
While last night was a tough choice due to Adam doing so well, it seemed that Shane's age (and I thought he did great in the challenge) seemed to be the excuse for knocking him out. I agreed with keeping Lisa and Aaron, as both have good food. I would have probably still booted Adam because of his bad food in the past, saying that the night's success shouldn't have saved him.
Kelsey could have easily been eliminated too, but her personality wins out I guess. I would have booted Adam, personally. |

Rep Power: 10 | I have to wonder if they are looking for another Guy, someone who has had a restaurant who could be a humorous host. They hit a Goldmine with Guy and it seems the Food Network likes to get stuck on a track sometimes with hosts and shows being very much the same. I wish they would look at something new. I think Paula is why they are pushing the innuendo with the Neely's. I think Robin Miller is because of the success of Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals. The new food detectives seem like an Alton type thing but I might feel differently once I see it. How'd that get on my plate seems like a reincarnation of Unwrapped.
So I think they are looking for another personality like Guy. Adam might be able to do that. But I think Aaron might be able to bring us something new, which would be nice. Lisa might need to try Bravo or TLC she would be great for a style type show. Kelsey really might just be too young, but I have to think maybe we will see her somewhere in the future. |

Rep Power: 10 | I somehow lost my message....here it is again.
I think Adam would be a great FN personality. He is entertaining and can cook a bit. Someone else writes the copy for the shows, so all he has to do is act it out.
With time, he could be a real asset.
Although, I still like Lisa and her style. I'd watch her show, but not sure about Aaron or Kelsey...too perky for me. Not saying that is a bad thing, just not sure I'd care to see a whole show.

I bet Adam is much better than they make him out to be....only time will tell.
