Food Network Green Tips

Is it me or do the tips that Food Network shows you for greener living go too fast. Every time I try to read one the thing is over before I hit the end. Maybe I'm just a slow TV reader...

I don't remember seeing them at all, so they must go WAY too fast for me.

I was trying to read it, the one I saw earlier said something about putting crumpled newspaper in your refrigerator, but I didn't get to the end in time to find out why.

Is it a commercial? I usually try and get things done in the kitchen or run down to the laundry room when they are on unless I am watching something I haven't seen before and don't want to miss any of it.

The newspaper one I have seen. If your refrigerator isn't full, you should crumble up newspapers and stick them in the fridge. Makes it more efficient at keeping it an even temperature.

I have tried it for odors and it works amazingly well! Better than baking soda.
