You're right on the money with that. The one thing to keep in mind during all of this is that TNFNS is an advertising revenue\ratings vehicle first - show for picking a host second.

I think that's why Nipa was allowed to stay even after she walked out - it makes for good drama. Her personality and behavior angered people, so they end up tuning in just to see when she'll get bounced - and that equals ratings.

Cooking chops or no cooking chops, arrogant & self-absorbed or pretending to be humble - Lisa is still on the show because she's attractive and digs cooking in sleeveless blouses - and that equals ratings.

They all have their hook – Kelsey was the underdog with determination, Adam is the comic relief, Lisa is the hottie, and Aaron is the regular guy.

I’m not bashing the show at all, by the way. I watch it regularly, as I do other shows on FN. However, I know what I’m watching – a TV show. It was conceived and is executed with one thing in mind – trying to find a way to keep me interested enough to continually tune in and sit through the commercials.

My money is on Lisa (Giada-like) or Adam (Fieri-like). Truthfully though, I’d rather it be Aaron. I’d watch a show of his, but not the other two.

Did any one watch the mac and cheese cook-off they aired recently, I thought it was rather peculiar that I believe 3 out the 5 used a goat cheese in one of their versions, and it would seem if you have 3 out 5 professionals adding it to their dish, that it probably is not that bad. I know I am going to give it a shot. I watched the show again, but still did not figure out what Bobby disliked all I got was it was muddled ? are the cheeses not suppose to mix and create a flavor different than normal and would that not be muddled ? I believe, something smells like lobstery to me and it was a way to keep Adam and get rid of Kelsey. I wonder if Paula ever reads the blogs or comments on here ?

I don''t like goat cheese, and it seems to be the trendy thing right now. I think it's being over used everywhere but that's probably because I don't care for it.

I'd probably watch any of the three, most likely Adam because he's funny and kind of learning, which might be appealing. Lisa, however, is the best of the three and it's not particularly close. I hope she wins next week because she deserves it, even if I'd probably watch Adam or even Aaron more. (as they cook foods I like)

Hurrah! We get to vote!!!! I was hoping they would bring it back.

I like Aaron, but he doesn't have the edginess that Lisa has...Adam is fun, but I can see where they would have him cheese it up for the camera and that could get annoying.

I'm voting for Lisa....different, edgy, has great style, I like her food and food knowledge.

Is that on the Food Network site? I thought they eliminated the voting this year.

It was on the show last night, right as it was finishing it said, "Go to Food Network to vote for your favorite" at the bottom of the screen.

I did, but all I saw was the original Vote for your Favorite and it had all the contestants. Maybe they are using that as an indicator?

No they have a contest where the fan favorite will win prizes. But I don't think it impacts the show.
