Holiday Specials

Hard to believe but December 25th is only 5 months from today (along with other December holidays).

Which Food Network holiday special is your favorite? I enjoy when they have select chefs make different dishes and all work together making a feast.

Although, the Halloween specials are fun as well. Remember Paula with the witch costume and making that witches hat cake? It's from a number of years ago, but they seem to pull it out each year and rerun it. She sure has the witches laugh down...kinda of scary!

Or what about Sandra Lee and Tyler? Floating all those candles in the pool...what was that all about?

I like those too. Sandra Lee usually goes all out. That one is fun to watch.

Every year I see Emeril as a vampire for Halloween, but it creeps me out that they didn't have to do a whole lot to make him look like that.

Ok, I started this thread in July saying that Christmas was only 5 months away.
Where did the time go to? Christmas is next month! We'll be picking out our tree next month at this time.

I must say, I am looking forward to the FN holiday specials. Those I thoroughly enjoy.

Getting excited about all the upcoming kitchen experiences with parties, holiday meals, cookies and candy that I make. Bought 12 pounds of butter yesterday and stuck it in the freezer. Do I sound like Paula Deen with all my butter (LOL!)

The price seems to go up the closer we get to December. I'm ready to start cooking!
