Guy is on a lot of shows so that must make you happy.

He's one of my favorites as well. I love his laugh!

I like Guy too. He seems very down to Earth.

chef

This site is so much fun I had to join.

Top 5: No particular order
Rachael Ray (i KNOW, but I love her bubbliness even if I don't learn anything from her. Loved $40/day. Not her daytime talk show so much though.
Ina Garten, Quiet, sweet, elegant, good recipes.
Sarah Moulton, I'm so sad she isn't making anymore new shows.
Guy Fee-eddi, he's a kick in the pants.
Dinner Impossible, I'm sorry he lied, but he was entertaining and I thought a very good cook.

Bottom 5: No particular order
Gina Neely, OUCH, my ears are bleeding. I do like BBQ and Pat seems cool.
Paula's Party, Now I like Paula's other shows, but I'm quite embarrassed when she acts like the old drunk just before closing time.
Emeril Live. I think he's an amazing chef, but sometimes I feel like he's yelling at me.
Throw Down, again I like Bobby Flay, but I thought it was kinda nasty to make people think they were doing a "special" for FN, then find themselves in a competition. I do love it when they whip him though. (That's the sick side of me)

Missed this thread before.

Top 5:
1. Throwdown with Bobby Flay. Best. Show. Ever. Perfect show -- highlights a famous chef but also highlights cooks around the nation. AGain, they ARE getting their own FN profile and who could complain about a cookoff with Flay?
2. Emeril Live (dumbest decision ever by network to cancel it) -- great show, great food, never tire of it
3. Diners, Drive ins and Dives -- find it fun, Guy is fun
4. Guy's Big Bite -- he makes makeable stuff in a format that isn't too sissy
5. Ultimate Recipe Showdown -- enjoyed Summers and Guy's "call" of it, and the variety of foods.

Bottom 5:
1. Party Line with the hearty boys (sorry, no thanks)
2. Barefoot Contessa (i know some love her, but she's annoying to me, sorry!)
3. All the baking challenge shows (god they are on every night, I'm sick of it...)
4. Everyday Italian (Giada is a snob)
5. Paula's Party (so fake)

Hi All,

I'm new but here are my top shows (they get DVR'd)
30 Minute Meals (her perkiness may be too much for some but for me it's fine)
Everyday Italian (she's snotty and always has her boobs hanging out, but her food looks good)
Barefoot Contessa (may be elitist but can cook)
Paula's Home Cooking (her food is good and her story of overcoming agoraphobia is incredible)
Healthy Appetite (because food is also supposed to nourish as well as taste good)

My least favorite are:
Quick Fix with Robin Miller
Rescue Chef (he's just obnoxious)
Tyler's Ultimate (Tyler Florence has gotten a bit of a stomach and is annoying to me)
Food Challenge shows (cake building, etc)
Dinner Impossible

Welcome, Cannella Says! Thanks for joining in. I think you are one of a very few that didn't mention Semi-Homemade as a 'least'.

We have tons of Alton fans, along with Ina, Michael, and a few others that get rave reviews.

If you read this post, there are definitely some strong opinions on Favs and Least Favs.

Enjoy!!!
