I guess I can stomach Sandra Lee because during the time slot she airs on the weekend, there is something else to switch to, whereas later in the day on Saturdays and Sundays or in the wee morning hours, there's nothing else to watch on all 500 channels. Imagine that.

5. Easy Entertaining and Iron Chef (tied for 5th)

3. Quick Fix with Robin Miller
4. Any RR show
5. Everyday Italian (yes, more love the show see #4 above, than don't)

I'm sure as more new shows are introduced, this list will change.

Many people do not like the competition shows...wonder if the FN will read our preferences?

Barefoot Contessa
Paula's Home Cooking- even if she DOES assume that all of her audience is female!!
(looking into the camera and calling the unseen viewers 'you girls' all the time is unnerving after awhile)

Not so much:
Semi-Homemade
Ace of Cakes (I know they're all his FRIENDS, but are they all stoned?)
Throwdown with His Bobbyness
Ham on the Street (they think they're 'edgy' with all the over-the-top graphics, but they're just annoying. And George Duran comes off more like a stand-up comic than a chef.)
Rachael 'Delish' Ray (I just used the word 'delish.' Nothing more need be said)

Just a note, I don't' watch much daytime FN.

4 - I enjoyed dinner impossible, but I won't watch it with Simon. Yes I'm bitter.
5 - Everyday Italian. My wife watches it because she likes it, I watch it with her at times to stare down the almost always open shirt.

Least.

1- ANYTHING with Rachel Ray, if she showed up on Good Eats I'd hate that episode too.
2 - Anything with Paula Dean, she doesn't annoy me like RR does, and she has a lot more talent, just not my kinda cooking.
3 - Emril Live. I know its on FLN now, but I had to mention it. Christ people, don't clap because he put gravy on mashed potatoes.
4 - Any Iron Chef America where Kora or Simon win (I'm still bitter about Besh not winning)
5 - The Challenge cake shows. I liked them at first, but its always the same people and they often are judging each other.

Well, I think the awesomeness of Alton Brown would negate Rachel
And I'd still watch to get my AB fix

But let's hope that's an issue we'll ever to deal with.

Alton has made fun of her on his shows. But in a nice subtle way, funny ... not mean. Just as we expect from Alton.

Favorites ;
1) Good Eats
2) Iron Chef America & Japan (Equally)
3) Throwdown with Bobby
4) Boy Meets Grill / Grill It (which I consider to be the same show)
5) Feasting on (Anything) hehe Gotta love Alton Brown.

So there's how I crammed my top 8 faves into 5. Haha!

#1 would have been Hot off the Grill (but it's no longer airing)

LEAST (I can only think of two)

1) Paula's Party
2) Anything with Martha Stewart

And why Martha Stewart on my dislikes list? Anyone remember the Brooklyn Chowder surfer? He was actually the one Bobby Flay challenged on the very first episode of Throwdown. Well, chowder is one of my favorite things to make, and when he was on Martha Stewart it was nearly impossible to pick up much on his technique because she kept interrupting him and basically she came across to me as being pretty rude. So, just haven't tuned in since. Nothing against Martha, she just doesn't entertain me, and by interrupting someone I wanted to watch and listen to, that pretty much made the show a waste of time for me.

I guess that's it. I am not going to rate anything I have never seen and while I was temped to list Paula's other show as #3 under dislikes, I have only seen one, and didn't dislike it. (Don't really remember it much).

I think I would easily fill out a list of my top 15 favorites!
