Lisa's show seems a little too much like the Gourmet Next Door to me now that he trimmed back her ideas. I wonder if the judges are thinking the same thing? The idea she had for the style and other things he wanted cut is what I think she would be best at. If Aunt Sandy can do her table scapes she could do the style portion.

Lisa's show does seem a bit like Gourmet Next Door but Gordan was right to cut some of her ideas to make them more accessible. I doubt a whole lot of FN viewers are interested in serious gourmet cooking. I'm more interested in how it will taste than how it will look.

I still think she is what they need over at Fine Living. Her idea for a show would be perfect on that channel. I think she will be pigeon holed doing a show in the Food Network because they want it to be all about the food.

It seems that the gourmet next door was more on trying to make like mac and cheese and trying to put a French flair to it, not really gourmet but a French touch, which Amy did not do very well, even during the whole competition in her season all she did was keep talking about living in France. Lisa on the other hand seems to want to take food to a higher level not so much in cooking but in presentation of gourmet type food. Seems like it might boarder on the realms of Martha Steward type show. After reading a lot of the comments in the blog section of judges I think there are more viewers than we think that want the food to look good as well as taste, because we eat with our eyes first, if it looks awful it probably will be, and if it looks good but smells awful, we won't eat it, I think we have to have all three to make it a dish worthy setting our tables with, looks, smells, and taste. dang dial-up been over a 45 min to download 8 min of utube. I am not sure I care for that dress though, reminds me of June Cleaver, beaver's mom. I know retro is cool but all the time it would become boring, thats why they are not wearing the same thing today as they did then, and I am not so sure that a weekly dose of it would wash with viewers. I kinda like where she is headed with this, it just might go, but then I haven't seen the other two Aaron or Adam pieces.

Even if she doesn't win, I'm sure we will see her on some show, somewhere.

Too many ideas and talent for them to just have her go home.
