The judges blew it

I am so very disappointed by the decision not to choose Lisa Garza as the next food network star. I was looking forward to her show and to learning more about cooking through her knowledge and presentation.

Not to disrespect the other finalists, but who needs yet another "we're gonna give you another huge slab of meat" type of good old boy predictable, boring show. Another cliche-fest in the making.

Lisa could cook and was very interesting and quite entertaining.

I hope a competing network picks her up. The judges totally blew it, plain and simple.

I think some of our members have said that she would fit well on the Fine Living Network. I think she has a future on TV, I found her really engaging.

I agree she had the best package and should have been chosen, even if I am more likely to watch the other two as a "liking slabs of meat" guy. I also liked Adam's humor and would have tuned in for the entertainment.

I have a feeling Tusch and Suze voted for Aaron and Bobby went with Lisa. That's my "take" from their reactions.

Aaron won the popular vote by fans on FN's site by a long shot.

I do think they took that into consideration.

Lisa will be around for a long time and do extremely well.

Well I think Bobby is just a puppet, since his programming and marketing is done by the other two. If you remember the very first show Bobby liked Adam said he is they type you just want to hang out with. YES Lisa should have been the choice, maybe Emeril and Martha will pick her up, she is more to their style of cooking and presentation anyways.

Emeril and Martha are with Scripps which owns the Food Network. They have the same parent company. I think they are trying to do the style type shows on that network. Food Network will be the slabs of meat.
