Rep Power: 10 | I thought it was kinda strange that they had people unknown to the viewers doing this to begin with. |

Rep Power: 3 | I've always wondered why they didn't have a chef or FN personalities, who have to do this everyday and knows what it really takes to do the job, as the judges. Was glad to see that they had added Bobby this past season. |

Rep Power: 3 | Yeah, wasn't Bob Tuschman in another series of a conest show? Was it last year's The Next Iron Chef America? Or was it last year's NFNS? One of them, he was in as a judge.
Last year's NFNS was a total flop!! I don't even know if the person who won then is even still around or what her name is. She certainly was no prize package either. |

Rep Power: 0 | I think the problem with having current stars do it, is people naturally protect their 'turf'.
Giada called out Kelsy for seeming fake and over the top enthusiasm wise. While I agree with her, she herself is an internet cliche over the same thing...
On the other hand Bobby just did NOT like Adam, it even came out on the show blog, yet Adam is a lot like Bobby personality wise (not cooking obviously) . Likewise do you think Guy would want someone who would be good at his show?
I also think its a mistake for the food network having their stars as a primary judge. My reason is that you get attached to certain contestants. I REALLY liked Besh from the next IC, so when I found out there were a lot of connections to Simon from the judges, including Kat Cora (however its spelled) I instantly disliked her after Besh lost. Maybe its not fair, maybe Simon was better but it didn't come out on the show so it looked like a fix to me. I don't want my favorite 'stars' to be put in a place where I am upset with their decisions, of which we only see a small part of on tv.

Reason: typo spelling

Rep Power: 10 | That is a very good point. I hadn't thought of that. I did think that very thing when Giada kinda lectured Kelsey. But Sandra Lee looked like she loved her. It's funny that even the ones that have been doing this for a long time seem to disagree on who else could do it.
Just goes to show how much personal tastes differ. That's why I hate to knock a show too much, I know there are people out there who might be a fan, and I don't want to slam someone they admire. I guess most fan sites have a pretty narrow focus and the members that join will pretty much be in agreement. But this site we have old favorites ... new people ... old favorites doing new shows ... New people doing old shows. I just hope we can all agree enough to have some harmony no matter what comes along next. |

Rep Power: 3 | Well, you wouldn't want anyone replacing Emeril or Paula, or even Guy Fieri.
They've all become truly one-of-a-kind individuals with their own style and flair of cooking techniques. |

Rep Power: 3 | The part that struck me in this season's episode just before the finale, for a while, it looked as though Bob, Bobby and Susie were going to get into an argument because they could make up their minds on what to do with the remaining three finalists.
Seems as though Bob was running the whole thing. |

Rep Power: 10 | Seemed as though some of the celebs were 'threatened' by the new, younger talent. I know this from experience and they will do whatever to make sure they don't make it just to make their job secure.
