TV cooking shows are feeding up the fat of the land
Scotsman, United Kingdom - 4 hours ago
People tend to watch these programmes, get hungry and go out and buy pies and fast food which is a lot easier then cooking the food that they do from ...

Wonder what kind of cooking shows they have in Scotland? Watching the good food on the shows we have here makes me want to avoid the times I do get fast food even more.

I would think since Scotland is still part of Britain, they would have the BBC and be watching the same cooking shows that England sees.

I find it hard to believe cooking shows are causing obesity, lets try the commercials for all these fast food joints, I would probably bet the ratio of fast food commercials to weight rate gain coincide more so than the cooking shows. But you know they will not do anything about that, it pays the bills.

I will admit watching cooking shows makes me hungry but don't go out and buy fast food afterwards.
I usually want to try and make some the meals they present and not all of them are bad for you.

Complete opposite for me, but I'm cooking myself now so I have lost weight.

It seems it's just a blame game.

Shows don't have a influence on me to make or buy food. I enjoy cooking when the time is right to make a meal. Are we different here? I don't know.
