Rep Power: 2 | Foodnetwork.com Revamped; Bob's Blog Debuts Foodnetwork.com has been completely revamped with a new look, bigger pictures, and (very annoying) videos (that autoplay when you go to the individual show or chef pages). Plus, Bob Tuschman's new... More... |

Rep Power: 3 | I see someone else doesn't like those autoplay videos.

Rep Power: 2 | Well if I had high speed they might not be to bad at least you can pause them, but mine never load far enough to pause. Maybe if we all write and tell them to make it an option to load and not automatically, it might help them remove at least some of them. Well okay I wrote, now see what type of response I get. It is real easy to post in comment section and a good place to ask questions, maybe we can get some answers, check out the blog to see my question

Rep Power: 10 | Probably because people have paid to have those mini advertisements on page load. I am sure that's a huge money maker for them. |

Rep Power: 10 | Yes but there is an ad that runs when you first go to the page before the video you want to see starts. |

Rep Power: 3 | Yes, but they're FN ads like for the "store" at FN.com.

Rep Power: 10 | We must be talking about different things then. When I go to see the Good Eats page the video starts right up and I got a commercial of people having a tomato fight in a wheat field advertising for wheat thins. Good Eats : Food Network |

Rep Power: 3 | They must have them on a rotating basis because the one I got when I clicked on the link was for Goya. I was over at the website earlier and went to several of the sites - FOW, Cooking Loft and about four others and every single one of them had either Bobby Flay or Paula wanting you to buy something at the FN store.
Still don't like it. If I'm going to the show's page to check out the episode guide or get a recipe from a show, I don't want to stop, scroll back up the page to have to pause the video when it's finished buffering and then go back down the page to where I was.

Rep Power: 10 | I got an ad for cool whip the second time. The least they could do is if you have been to the page once don't hit you with advertising again. |
