Local chef stars in Food Network pilot

The Food Network is scheduled to film a pilot program at Filomena Cucina Rustica in Berlin Township today, said the restaurant's general manager Dan Inverso.
The program, to be called 'Flavor of Fusion', will be an hour long program that will show Filomena's chefs creating a dish. The program will then show a dish being made at another restaurant, and the 'fusion' portion of the show will be the Filomena's chefs incorporating the two dishes together, said Filomena's banquet coordinator Natalie Ramos.
Filomena chefs Phil Maycott, Josh Storey and owner and chef Giuseppe DiVentura will be on hand today to make a pesto-crested red snapper with calamari, shrimp, clams, mussels, butternut squash and Swiss chard.
The dish will be 'fused' with a dish made by chef Joe Brown of Melange Cafe, which has two locations in Haddonfield and Cherry Hill.
