Glad one of those kids is making a good go of it. You could tell that Alonzo was serious about the project and wanting to get that scholarship. He looks so much happier in those pictures than he did on the show. Best of luck to him!

It is so good to see him doing well. I was hoping at least one out the bunch would make it through. Seems as so the one girl is going on, and the tall skinny guy, thats terrible I do not remember names. But I am glad to see that some got out of their gutters and back into the world of life, and what a better field to go into than cooking. hats off to the hard work it took to make that climb.

I'm so glad he decided to pursue his goals. He's on his way to becoming an aspiring chef!

Hopefully later, when he gets to where Chef Jeff is, HE may want to try to mentor at-risk adults himself and steer THEM in the right direction!

I hope it comes back for a 2nd season because I loved it!
