Cool Which loaf of brfead is tghe freshest?

    CHECK THIS OUT!
When you go shopping for bread, do you squeeze the loaf to see if it is fresh? Bread is delivered 5 days in the week. The bread companies use different color of twist ties to identified the day the bread was delivered. To remember, they are alphabetized:
Blue - Monday, green -Tuesday, red - Thursday, white - Friday, yellow - Saturday.
There's no delivery in Wednesdays. There may be some differences in your neck of the woods, so check with your supermarket.

We have an Orowheat outlet nearby and yesterday I was able to use my punch cards and got 3 bread products for free. I love going there. What would cost close to $4.00 in the store for one loaf, you get buy it for 99 cents and it is ALL FRESH. I love that store.

Can you eat all those bread products before they get stale? Maybe there are children in the family that brown bag their sandwich lunches every day. That amount of breads would last me over a week. And I love bread! By the way...what is an Orowheat? We have a day old bread place you can get those supermarket leftovers and you can find some nice breads and rolls, danish etc. BB thanks for your imput.

Orowheat is bread company. The outlet store sells only fresh bread (LOTS of grain bread)products, Boboli (pizza rounds to make your own pizza), Entemann products, teas, jelly, etc.

I freeze the bread and it keeps for months. It is just as fresh when I take it out of the freezer.

Bought one loaf of bread, English muffins and hot dog buns...it really wasn't too much.

I wish we had a good bread bakery here. If I don't bake it myself, I usually end up getting the pepperidge farm farm house bread for sandwiches. The bakery/deli in Kroger only has one slice setting for bread.

Don't you have a Panera by you? I love their seeded baguette.

Yes we do. I have bought from them a few times. It's a little further than the store is for me and I never seem to think about it when I am up that way. Toy's R Us shopping is the only time I really go near it.
