Chinese New Year is February 6th (here in the states)...be sure to wear red to bed on this night for good luck in the coming year. Also, if you sleep with a red envelope, containing a dollar in it under your pillow, you will have good fortune.

Be sure not to clean your house or sweep the floor on Chinese New Year as you will sweep all the good luck out the door!

Also, oranges are very lucky...so be sure to eat one or two of them!

In northern China, eating Jiaozi is supposed to bring good luck--not that I ever need an excuse to eat Jiaozi!
