How Food Network cooks up better online video content to attract viewers
With a new recipe for for identifying which online videos are most interesting to visitors, Food Network has increased the number of video views by 30% and overall page views from Internet search visitors by 27%, senior analyst Richard Calentine says. Food Network, which offers a cooking products retail shop as well as recipes and other informational content on FoodNetwork.com, is using web analytics provider Omniture Inc.’s Online Marketing Suite to show how visitors respond to multiple versions of video content.
