Yeah, the first issue had an ICA feature with a photo of him on the set.
Maybe I should offer them a report from Nashville and some of my photos?

You know, I have discussed this with other people, "why isn't Alton as involved with FN as the other stars?" I have heard and thought of many theories. 1.) He's always been an independent show and it may be in his contact that he has full say over his involvement with FN. 2.) He may not want to be "overexposed" like some of the other FN stars (though not too many seem to burn out do they - I mean look at Rachael!) 3.) He may just want to be "beholden" to FN in a limited fashion so he has control over his own work 4.) maybe he makes more money on his own? 5.) Maybe he wants to work when HE wants to work - for family, career, sanity's sake, etc.
It would be interesting to hear his opinion - but MAYBE FN doesn't want him to admit to his own independence (I mean what would other FN stars do with this knowledge?)
Of course, this is all conjecture on my part - I still love Alton nonetheless, lol

Even in the days before AB was as big as he is now, he wasn't involved with FN projects a lot. I always thought FN didn't understand or "get" him. Now that he's big, I don't know.
I do know, he values his privacy. I suspect that has a lot to do with it. Plus he doesn't seem the type to seek fame. Originally, he wasn't even to be the host of the Good Eats.
He also has an advantage owning the production company, I don't think any of the other hosts have that.

There's a new issue of the FN mag? I think I'm always the last one on here to get my copy. Maybe they sent them out in alphabetical order... and since my last name starts with a "V" that would explain it.

This is a Halloween one. Maybe I am just much later than everyone else but mine came today.
Mary Alice's pumpkin with the tooth pick teeth caught my son's eye. We might be doing one like that this year.
