Test new recipes by using library's cookbooks

Cookbooks are popular reading materials in public libraries. Customers love to borrow the newest Food TV cookbook or the latest fad diet recipe book. Often library users enjoy testing the recipes from a borrowed library cookbook before they invest money for their own collection.

I check out cookbooks from the library a lot. And the benefit of working at a university library, I check out books from there too
I have two study guide books for culinary tests on my desk right now.

I've done that for years. It's a good way to check out a new cookbook to see if you want to spend the $$ the add it to your collection. Some I just make photocopies of the few recipes I like in them and some I will purchase my own copy. I've got two cookbooks checked out from the library right now... one of Julia's and Guy's DDD book.
