Every year Oregon has a competition with California growers (mostly from Half Moon Bay...greatest restaurants are there!)

We have one here and then one in Half Moon Bay. They all grow these enormous pumpkins.

And, not to forget, the Pumpkin Regatta, right here in Tualatin, Oregon. If you Google it, it will bring up the site. This year it is on Halloween.

If you want to see a giant peach...

This is the water tower for the town of Gaffney, SC in the upstate. You can see it heading on I-85 heading to GA. Called the Peachoid, it holds 1,000,000 gallons. That's a whole lot of "peach juice."

If you're going in the opposite direction on I-85 you see the "hind end" of the peach.
