I found this article interesting. The Red Delicious are the least popular in the PNW and the farms rarely, if ever, grown them. The orchard I go to said that Honey Crisp are the most popular followed by the Fuiji and Jonagold. It must be a regional taste preference.

This morning I made mini apple muffins. I used a Jonagold apple. Sprinkled the tops with chopped up Marcona almonds, brown sugar and cinnamon..they are the perfect size. Boy, does the house smell good!

I made cinnamon rolls because my crew is home all weekend and off Monday for Columbus day. They might last that long.
