    Interesting the article is from here (Portland). You wouldn't know there was a shortage with all the Libby pumpkin I've seen at the stores.

    I bought mine last month and also have a pie pumpkin on the table that I could use, but it's the perfect pumpkin and I'd hate cutting it up quite yet.

    We have tons of pumpkins sitting in fields. What a shame they couldn't use all of them.

    Heard on the news last night that Oregon is going to help out with the pumpkin shortage. Farmers had an abundance of pumpkins this year....like I said, we have fields of pumpkins that are going to go to waste. Happy they will be able to turn their surplus into a profit and help out at the same time.

    Yesterday I went to two different grocery stores and the shelves are FULL with Libby canned pumpkin. I picked up another can just to have on hand.
