They had a spot on the news about that last night. I'm still a little leary. I still get creeped out buying scallions and fresh spinach and that's the stuff grown in the U.S.

When all this business kept popping up about lead in a lot of their stuff, I wondered if it pertained to any of my serving bowls. We have a huge local pottery place (Old Time Pottery) that sells stuff at a good price. It made me wonder whether I should get one of those kits and start checking my bowls for lead.

We grew up with lots of things having lead. Many things were made in China and we are all here and fine.

I'm sure there is some justification to it, but sometimes the media goes overboard on reporting.

I bought spinach this past week and I'm fine. Once there is a scare, you can be fairly certain they are going to be monitoring everything even closer. They don't want any more lawsuits and want to be sure their product is safe.
