Winging it for Super Bowl

Winging it for Super Bowl
The Nassau Guardian - Jan 22 9:47 PMNothing can put a damper on Super Bowl Sunday for gridiron fans than a spread that's too fussy. Football fans want their eyes glued to the television set, and their only movement being to stretch their hand out, and use their fingers to pick up whatever they want to eat.

They all sound good to me. Maybe I'll watch the game somewhere just for the food?

Never really got into watching the Super Bowl. Unlike some people who get up during the commercials, I go into the room to watch the commercials. That, to me, is the best part.

My sports fever will kick in for Euro 2008 in June. Now that's real football.

I hate sports so Superbowl Sunday is the perfect time to go out shopping cause the streets are empty and so are the malls, LOL.

For as much as my daughters and I hate football, my son-in-law Mark talked my daughter into letting him buy a minor-league football team (The Ohio Invaders) four years ago so the whole family helps out during the season (June through October). Occasionally, one of the guys will come off the field ecstatic at what he'd just done and will say something like, "Man, didja see that??" as he's high-fiving everyone. My daughter and I just look at each other and say, "Huh??", LOL. Now I know the concept is to get the ball over the goal line and score a TD but, as far as all the technical stuff, once someone says, "First down", it all sounds like blah-blah-blah-blah. :spin:
