Roadkill would go well with that new recycled toilet water some places are sending to people's taps.

When I was a teenager, I hit a deer with my car. The deer didn't die but it couldn't stand. County Control called the game commission. An officer arrived to shot the deer. He asked me if I wanted it. When I said no, he told me that they take the deer to be used as food in the local prison. Not exactly road kill, I guess.

I'm sorry, that is what I was referring too. However () when I was young, and when fur had a worth, I would stop and pick them up to sell the fur. Did I ever tell you about the time I was with a friend and did this? Anyway, we forgot we had put it in the trunk and a week or so later his dad started complaining about the smell in his car. It's just funny now...it wasn't then!

I hate it when they call it "road kill", when it's fresh like that...one gets a less than appetizing picture, with the word "roadkill".

I think it's WONDERFUL that people get fed that way. Ever had elk? A bit gamey (slight taste of liver), but, with proper prep, it is "white-eye ROLL BACK" good! I lived on Elk for two years, out in California, when I was a kid. Long story, but I acquired a taste for it.

Moose and deer are the best tasting, but I won't shoot an animal. I did try once. I refused to shoot it, and my friends never took me hunting again! However, I'll EAT all the venison I can get...hypocritical? Maybe. But I don't want to shoot a COW, either...LOL!
