Rep Power: 10 | I always found it interesting when airlines would serve food and give the choices on the flight.
People would get all excited about which one they would select and then be upset if they ran out of what they wanted.
I would sit there and look at it and think, "Would I eat this at home? No. Would I pay money for this at a restaurant? No." The food was in those little container dishes and there wasn't much of it.

I can't say that I ever got anything decent on a flight except for when I was once upgraded to first class for free, a flight from Boston to Miami I was served Fillet Mignon, with a real hot fudge sundae for dessert, it was actually quite good, but other than that blah.
If I have a longer flight I will buy something in the terminal and take it on. If the flight is shorter, I bring some nice chocolate and cookies, and enjoy that while everyone else is choking down dry pretzels!

Rep Power: 2 | Cathay Pacific has the best airline food of any I've been on. I usually get the all fruit meal and it is delicious and beautifully prepared. |

Rep Power: 2 | They fly all over Asia and parts of Europe. I think they come to the US west coast too. |

Rep Power: 10 | No wonder I'm not familiar with them. I don't like to travel and traveling out of the country...well, never have and have no desire to.

Rep Power: 2 | Oh, BerryBaby, I would have pegged you for a big traveler. Trips through the airport are getting to be more and more bothersome so honestly I wouldn't mind never leaving again either. When will someone invent time travel! |

Rep Power: 10 | That's interesting you should think that as I have the same reaction from others. I'm just totally content at home. I LOVE our house, the surroundings, the birds in the yard and we live in a gorgeous state. Everyday I see the surrounding mountains that are snow covered. If I want to go to the ocean, it is just an hour away. If we want the mountains, it's an hour in the other direction. Beyond the mountains is a desert.
Besides I have this thing about sleeping in a bed that others have slept in. I tiptoe around hotel rooms, just like Howie Mandel. Well, not exactly like him. I mean, I don't cover the floor in towels like he does. He is more of a germophobic than I am!
