I don't eat sausage often enough to go through the trouble of grinding it myself. I enjoy it, but I know it's not all that good for the cholesterol.

I make it occasionally but I don't use a sausage maker to make links. I just form it into patties.

Come to think of it, I think the only time I ever buy Bob Evans roll sausage is when I'm making either sausage gravy or that breakfast strata with the browned sausage, egg custard mixture, bread cubes, etc. That strata's the bomb!
