USDA makes nation's largest beef recall AP - 50 minutes ago LOS ANGELES - The U.S. Department of Agriculture on Sunday ordered the recall of 143 million pounds of frozen beef from a California slaughterhouse, the subject of an animal-abuse investigation, that provided meat to school lunch programs.

Rep Power: 2 | I was watching the news this evening when they did a piece on this story. I had to turn it off because I just couldn't watch anymore. For the life of me, I just can't understand how people can be so cruel to living, breathing beings. It absolutely makes me sick. I hope those people involved are prosecuted to the fullest extent. | |
