USDA makes nation's largest beef recall

USDA makes nation's largest beef recall

AP - 50 minutes ago LOS ANGELES - The U.S. Department of Agriculture on Sunday ordered the recall of 143 million pounds of frozen beef from a California slaughterhouse, the subject of an animal-abuse investigation, that provided meat to school lunch programs.

Be careful out there folks.

I was watching the news this evening when they did a piece on this story. I had to turn it off because I just couldn't watch anymore. For the life of me, I just can't understand how people can be so cruel to living, breathing beings. It absolutely makes me sick. I hope those people involved are prosecuted to the fullest extent.

When I see that, I want to stop eating meat. I tend to eat more vegetables than anything else.

Pitiful. Makes a mockery of the industry. If true, hang-em high.

I am seriously considering vegetarianism myself, and if you know me, that's saying something. I saw the same videos everyone else did and was disturbed.

Spinach killed a bunch of people too. Or at least a few died, many got VERY sick. You can't be certain about anything anymore.
