What's your most-hated kitchen chore? My peppermill just ran out and it always annoys me so much. Was just wondering what's your 'most-hated' chore in the kitchen? I have a few more but this one is #1.

I use a funnel for the pepper grinder. I hate to mop. I have one of those steam mops that makes it easier but I still dread it.

I hate cleaning the fridge. Having to take everything out and wipe down each shelf, especially the door shelves, and each drawer is a lot of work. And then trying to wipe the gasket around the fridge and remove the pan underneath are more bother. I like my fridge to be sparkling clean but I would be willing to pay someone to do this. Sometimes I bribe my husband to do it.

I do the fridge every Sunday so it isn't that much work. We have glass shelves and, I too, like to keep them sparkling.

Let's see my the thing I dislike the most is emptying out the dishwasher. My husband usually does it. He likes to help and he knows that is my least favorite thing.

I love being in my kitchen, I don't care what I am doing from cleaning cabinets to cleaning out leftovers. Only one thing that irks me to no end is having to clean up after someone who just leaves the kitchen without cleaning, goes and watches TV , you can see our TV from the kitchen, never have figured it out but when they tell me I will do it later I just got to the point I might as well do it now because I will end up doing it later anyways. but then I am also that way about the rest of the house, Does anyone else leave their tables set ready to eat ?

No because at my house the flatware would probably be abducted by transformers if I had the table set ready to eat. In the warm months where it's warm enough to eat outside I keep my dining table clean and decorated all the time because we always eat out on the screen porch. But in the winter I have to keep the linens clean and use place mats I can wipe off or the kids would keep it messy.

I leave placemats and fresh flowers on the table all the time...oh, and candles!

Woke up this morning and husband had cleaned the oven, shined all my copper pans and emptied the dishwasher. He said he woke at 4 and couldn't go back to sleep so wanted to do something to keep busy.

I have no complaints...I'm very fortunate!

If that's what he does when he can't sleep, I'd be pouring him some really strong coffee at dinner every night!
