Rep Power: 1 | Hearth, or open fire cooking can be done safely, if you follow the basic food safety guidlines (preventing cross contamination, temperature, etc). I've never done it myself, but I remember a DI where Robert had to prepare a meal using 18th century methods, and it apparently came out pretty good. |
