Plowed down my peas yesterday, to much rain and temperature remained too cool.

We're supposed to be starting a heat wave up north here starting tomorrow. Tomorrow 89 and 92 on Friday and then it's supposed to fluctuate between 85-90 the rest of the 7 days. It's funny because a week ago they were predicting rainy weather in the 70's for Thurs-Fri-Sat. What a difference a few days make.


We're participating in the "Relay for Life" sponsored by the National Cancer Society this Friday and Saturday. It's an overnighter and everyone has a big tent (like at the fairs). Last week we were worried about the cold rainy weekend but now we have to deal with the sweltering heat. Not looking forward to sleeping on the ground and not being able to shower first thing in the morning but I'm there to support my daughter. Wish us luck!

We are still below normal with temps in the high 50's low 60's. A bit too cool to sit outside and eat.
