I love coconut! Interesting that we all have such different tastes.

I enjoy Cilantro in food, but agree that too many restaurants are using it in everything. There is a time and place for all herbs and spices. To me, I enjoy it in Mexican food, but many Asian restaurants use it as well.

Personally, I think caviar should have been on the list.

And, one more note, who are these people that they interviewed. Children?

I planted some Cilantro for the first time. My wifes uses it a lot. I think people just over use such, like BB says.

Smile

I have a friend who is a picky eater.
He doesn't like liver (chicken or otherwise).
We were in an Italian restaurant together last week and he asked me for help in ordering. "Do you think I'd like the Ragu Bolognese?"
I asked the waiter what was in the dish and worried when he told me that, in addition to 3 kinds of meat, they also used some chicken liver.
Not unusual in Italy, but would my friend like it?
I took a shot and didn't tell my friend.
When the dish came, he asked me to taste it and see if he would like it.
It was delicious and had many complex layers of flavor that didn't feature the liver very specifically. I told him it was fine for him and he LOVED it!

Everything in proportion.
