While a whole grain English muffin is toasting, coat a microwave-safe cereal bowl with olive oil cooking spray. Drop in an egg and use the shell to break and swirl the yolk. Season and pop in the microwave for 30-40 seconds. Top with baby spinach and a slice of cheese. Microwave an additional 10 seconds and serve on the toasted English muffin.
For those hectic mornings when you are just about to put the kids on the bus and they announce they haven't eaten breakfast, try this. Buy a box of instant whole wheat pancake mix. Next time you make pancakes, triple the batch. You can even throw in blueberries or chopped bananas to add extra flavor. Freeze the leftover cooled pancakes in Ziploc baggies. When ready, put in the microwave, they'll heat up in 60 seconds and the kids will love them!

Of course you notice that it does not tell you, in the beginning of all the prep work that has to be done before you even start these 5 min breakfast. Reminds of 30 min meals if you work 4 hours prepping the food from the grocery store and putting it all in little baggies, premeasured, and ready to pull put of your ice box. Sounds like a hook line and sinker job.

I do 5 minute breakfast eats...toast a muffin, while it is toasting, slice a tomato and avocado, get the sliced swiss out of the fridge, then the muffin is done. Put all the toppings on the muffin, wha-lah! Breakfast.
I agree...my 5 minute breakfast it less than 5 minutes...since it is just a toasted bagel/english muffin (depending on the day) and then throw some cream cheese and strawberry jelly on it...and I am ready to go!
If I am in a hurry, open box ... pour cereal ... pour milk. I only make something that requires prep time if I have plenty of time to do it. But that's most of the time since I work from home. I guess if you rarely have the time you have to find it.
Another one for the "less than 5 minute cream cheese of toasted bagel" breakfast. Sometimes tho, I can whip out a egg and cheese sandwich on toast in about 5 minutes.
We all got RR beat...we are down to 'making a complete meal from start to finish in 5 minutes of less.' My breakfast has a lot of nutritional value....a whole wheat muffin, a slice of swiss (protein and dairy) tomato (fruit or veggie depending on your way of looking at it) and avocado (fat and veggie).
