Rep Power: 3 | Maybe it's the one in California?
That entrance next to the Mary Poppins sign in the pic above, was that a movie theater at one time? Looks like it was. |

Rep Power: 10 | Yes, Disney Land is California. Disney World is Florida. |

Rep Power: 3 | Thought so, thanks!
I used to ge the two mixed up, calling the one in Florida Disney Land.
Is there any difference between the two other than the rides, such as Jurassic Park: The Ride being in Cali and a small footbridge replica of the Golden Gate Bridge?
I know that the New York New York Hotel in Las Vegas has a small footbridge replica of the Brooklyn Bridge. |

Rep Power: 1 | I believe that there are TONS of differences...too many to even write out in this message. I am addicted to Disney World. ha ha I go ever year.
As for the McDonalds being at the park, I don't mind it and I don't care if it is there or isn't there. I know that they sponsor rides at Animal Kingdom (Dinosaur) so I am sure that they will keep selling them at the World. For now...

Rep Power: 10 | Never been to Disney World, only Disneyland. It's MUCH smaller and I know my way around you'd think we use to live there! Old, classic, park with a lot of charm.

Rep Power: 10 | We have been to Disney World several times in my life. Twice as a kid and twice with my own children.
I have only been to California twice, and it was long after I married. We couldn't afford air travel when I was a kid, so if we went anywhere it was a road trip. |

Rep Power: 10 | Us, too! Did a lot of car vacations to Wisconsin Dells and a place in Michigan where we would pick grapes. Disneyland wasn't visited until we moved to SF back in the 70's and then after our daughter was born, we'd take her. Think that started when she about 5? I don't know, time goes too fast to keep up with dates.

Rep Power: 10 | Believe me, it has changed A LOT since the 1950's. We would stay in little wooden cabins by a lake. My most favorite things were the little cedar boxes and Indian dolls we would get as souvenirs. The boxes smelled amazing and the dolls were beautiful and had intricate beaded costumes. Wish I still had them!

Rep Power: 1 | That sounds like so much fun!!! I was reading about them the other day and it mentioned that there are a TON of water parks and stuff like that in a 20 mile radius. Sounds kind of crazy.
The wooden cabins remind me of the cabins in Tennessee by Piegon Forge. Anyone ever stay there? That is on my list of things to do before I die.
