More Chinese food scares: Green beans pulled from shelves

Just in case you're actually keeping count and haven't run screaming for every Chinese food product out there, Reuters reports that there's a new food to fear -- frozen green beans. At least one person is in the hospital (in Japan) due to these greens, which reports say are tainted with pesticide -- dichlorvos to be exact.

I"m not sure, but I am confused as to wht we allow the PRC to export anything to us after all the problems.

At this point, probably the best way to tell if you are getting frozen veggies strictly made in America is to stick with a well-known brand like Bird's Eye and Green Giant.

America and it's co's have pretty much done so much trading back and forth with China that it seems hard to even keep up with what's going on.

This is nuts!! I mean, come on now, why isn't something being done to stop this recklessness and carelessness? Why is this trainwreck allowed to continue with them?!!
