It seems that everyday something is being recalled.

Well, we made it through life in the 50's and 60's when things weren't even tested. Bet we had food illnesses that we didn't know about. Everytime we got sick we'd say we had the stomach flu. There isn't even such an illness from what I've read.

Yes and we probably eat a lot of things we are better off not knowing about or we might never eat again.
