    Unitasker Confessions

You know who you are, confess! We all have been lured into the Kitchen Kaboodle or Willams and Sonoma perhaps even long before we found Alton. What has hooked you? Are you happy you bought it? Just whisper ... I won't tell Alton. (Hey we have seen him with them occasionally) Some things are just to tempting to not see how you can play with them.

Last year I bought a tart pan with a removal bottom from William-Sonoma and I love it! Had looked and looked and could never find one. Just happened to be in the store buying a wedding gift and found it. Probably because I wasn't looking for it. That's how it happens.

I have one of those too. And I have one of those things you put corn in a cage and grill it. I also have one of those jaccard meat tenderizers with the 48 blades. But you know SO DOES ALTON! I would like for him to tell me what that does other than tenderize meat.

Have you tried Tyler's lime butter for the corn? It is really good!

No but I do like him. Some of his "ultimate" dishes really are very good.

My favorite unitasker that i have bought is my espresso machine i use it all the time. It's about ready to die on me too. The one unitasker that i regret is my ice cream maker, i never use it. I can't find a good recipe that is no cooking at all.

Alton did a show in espresso machines so maybe he's okay with that. I have thought about getting the KitchenAid mixer add on that makes ice cream, then it would be an accessory for a multitasking mixer. But I am not so sure I would use it either.
